SINALOA is a pendant in the form of a single continuous spiral: a gold band set densely with clear crystal prisms coils into a double turn 60 cm across. The whole thing hangs on three fine cables from a round gold rose, with an installed height of up to 120 cm. It is one band, not a set of rings At first glance it looks like two overlaid circles, but the construction is different: it is one ribbon running as a helix, descending and closing a loop beneath itself. Because of that the form is not symmetrical — it reads differently from every side, and walking round a table the light and reflections shift in a way rings do not produce. The diodes are concealed inside the band's profile and shine outward into the crystals. The result is two kinds of light at once: an even, warm line from the band itself, and scattered sparkle across walls and ceiling from rays refracting through the prisms. 4070 lm from 50 W — and why that is not a lot Efficacy works out at about 81 lm/W, distinctly less than a plain fitting with an opal diffuser. The reason is built into the design: every crystal refracts some light, reflects some and absorbs some. That is not a build fault — it is the price of sparkle. If maximum lumens per watt is what you want, crystal will never be the right answer. The 4070 lm itself is nonetheless serious — roughly five classic 60 W bulbs. Over a dining table that is too much for dinner at full output, which is exactly why it matters that the fitting dims. 3500 K — the colour in between The manufacturer chose 3500 K, a value sitting precisely between warm white (3000 K) and neutral (4000 K). For gold and crystal that is a considered choice: 3000 K would give the crystals a yellowish cast and flatten their transparency, while 4000 K would wash the warmth out of the gold band and leave the whole piece cool and technical. 3500 K keeps the metal warm and the glass clean. The colour is fixed — the LED module is permanently built in and not replaceable, so when the diodes are spent the whole fitting is replaced. Dimming here is a function, not an extra The fitting is dimmable via an external dimmer — there is no remote and no built-in controller, so a dimmer is needed in the installation. At 4070 lm over a table that is close to essential: full output is right when the room has to be lit, and in the evening you come down to 20–30 %, where the crystals still sparkle but the light does not glare. Choose the dimmer with your electrician — not every model works with every LED driver. Over a dining table the usual figure is 70–90 cm from the top to the underside of the fitting; with a 2.5 m ceiling and the full 120 cm drop the bottom sits about 130 cm off the floor, so with a lower ceiling the cables have to be shortened. Supply 230 V, protection IP20 — dry interiors only; crystal also wants occasional dusting, since settled dust dulls it faster than it dulls a smooth surface.
