GES2270 is a low garden bollard from Gea Luce, 47 cm tall — a mushroom head 17.8 cm across on a slim stem, set on a round Ø16 cm base. The anthracite plastic housing and IP54 rating put it on paths, borders and entrances, not on a street. 47 cm is the height that defines the use That height is deliberate: light falls from knee level, lighting the surface and the edge of a border rather than the faces of people walking past. A row of these along a path leads the eye and shows the boundary you walk along — a completely different job from a park lantern. The spreading 17.8 cm head acts as a hat: it directs the flux downward and hides the source when seen from the side, limiting glare in a garden after dark. The E27 bulb is bought separately The bollard has a conventional E27 lampholder and takes a bulb up to 40 W; no source is included. That gives freedom an integrated-LED fitting does not: you pick the colour and output yourself, and years later you replace only the bulb rather than the whole bollard. The whole bollard weighs 0.98 kg, so installation needs no heavy base — screwing it to a paved surface or a point foundation is enough.
