GFA1399 is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting with two spotlights on a shared 35 cm bar, in a satin black finish. Its most important feature is not visible in a photograph: both tubes are fully movable — they tilt through 0–90° and rotate through 350°. This is a fitting you aim after installing, and aim again when the furniture moves. The full range of adjustment 0–90° of tilt means each tube can be turned from straight down all the way to horizontal — lighting the floor beneath it or the wall opposite. 350° of rotation lets the beam swing almost the whole way around its axis. In practice: one tube can pick out a picture on the wall while the other lights a worktop or an armchair, and that can be changed at any moment without tools. With fixed-direction fittings, the same change would mean drilling the ceiling again. Build The construction is entirely aluminium: a rectangular base 35 × 6 cm and 2 cm thick, plus two tubes 5.7 cm in diameter and 9 cm long. The finish is satin black — matt, non-reflective, and it does not collect fingerprints. At 0.64 kg net the fitting mounts on a standard ceiling box. On a directional fitting the beam angle decides the effect more than the wattage does: narrow (24–38°) gives a crisp accent on a picture or a detail, wider (60–100°) lights a section of the room. Fit two identical lamps — with two tubes on one bar, a colour difference would show immediately. Warm white at 2700–3000 K suits a living room or bedroom; neutral 4000 K suits work areas and kitchens. Installation The fitting mounts on the surface — no aperture to cut and no ceiling void needed, so a concrete slab is fine. It is class I, so the circuit needs a PE earth conductor. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry rooms. Where it works A two-point bar 35 cm long works well wherever two different places need lighting from a single supply point: a hallway with a mirror and a coat rack, a kitchen with a worktop and a table, a living room with a reading chair and a picture wall. Being able to aim each tube separately is a real advantage over a flush fitting that lights evenly downwards.
