BAZAR BIZAR

Bazar Bizar Teak Root Collection Natural Serving Plate 35 × 25 × 4 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Teak Root Collection Natural Serving Plate 35 × 25 × 4 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Bazar Bizar BASU614 serving plate combines a rectangular outline with a shallow recessed surface and hand grips cut into the underside. Darker grain lines run through its natural teak wood. It is a dish for serving dry food, rather than for cooking or reheating meals.Allowing space for the plateAt 35 cm long, 25 cm wide and 4 cm high, it occupies a rectangular footprint on a table or worktop. Compare those outer measurements with your serving space before ordering, allowing room for the other dishes as well. The raised border takes up part of that footprint, so the external dimensions do not describe the entire usable serving surface.Choose dry foods such as bread or dry biscuits for direct contact with the wood. Its tray-like appearance does not remove the manufacturer's dry-food-only restriction. Recesses underneath provide finger space without handles projecting beyond the sides. The manufacturer also specifies that the plates are stackable.A visible grain rather than an added patternStraight edges and a restrained border leave the teak grain as the main visual feature. Natural wood and simple geometry suit a rustic table setting in a kitchen or dining room. Made by hand in Indonesia, the plate may vary in colour, grain and small irregularities between individual pieces. The photograph shows the design, not a promise of an identical grain pattern.Care without soakingRemove dust with a soft cloth or brush. When further cleaning is needed, use a lightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Do not soak the wood or leave moisture sitting on it. The manufacturer recommends food-safe oil to help retain the original colour. Do not put this serving plate in a dishwasher, microwave or oven.Show more
