Omnipac PCX-100 HPLC guard column with 4 mm inner diameter, 50 mm length and 8.5 µm particle size . With cation exchange and reverse phase properties, this polymer-based mixed mode column is solvent compatible and stable over the entire pH range. It should always be operated with at least 1 % organic solvent in the mobile phase. The macroporous, hydrophobic core provides reverse phase retention and is coated with a cation exchange latex bead layer for cation exchange retention. Solvents can be used to influence selectivity and to remove contaminants to extend column lifetime.
