This is not a luminaire but a concreting anchor — the mounting component without which a garden bollard cannot be set properly into the ground. Norlys catalogue it as 505.What it fitsAnchor 505 is made for the NARVIK bollard, art. 557 — a vandal-resistant fitting in powder-coated aluminium with a polycarbonate diffuser. Other Norlys families take different anchors (305, 405, 1230 and so on), so this is not a universal part; check your luminaire's article number before ordering.How it worksThe construction is a three-armed steel frame with hooked leg ends. The anchor is set in concrete: the hooks key into the cured mix and form a permanent fixing that cannot be pulled out or worked loose over the years. Three M10 threaded studs project from the top, and the bollard's base bolts onto them. That means the luminaire can be taken off if needed — for garden work or servicing — without disturbing the foundation.Why not chemical anchorsA concreted anchor carries wind load and accidental impact into the whole mass of the foundation rather than into a few points in the surface layer.
