MEXICO is a 210 cm wide folding futon sofa on a solid beech frame, stained walnut and finished with linseed oil and wax. The cream, button-tufted mattress in polyester fabric rests directly on the timber frame; the armrests are flat beech boards. Variant WUA-00629 pairs the walnut frame with the cream fabric.How big it is and where it fitsFolded, the sofa takes up 210 × 105 cm of floor and stands 83 cm high — compare that with the wall length and, under a window, the sill. Opened out, the depth grows to 145 cm: leave a further 40 cm free in front of the sofa, plus about 80 cm if you need to walk past the bed.The legs are 17 cm high — that is the clearance under the frame, to compare with your vacuum head. The sofa weighs 76 kg, which matters on stairs and on floors that scratch easily.How it sits and how it sleepsThe seat is 45 cm above the floor and 65 cm deep. At that depth you sit with your legs tucked up; sitting upright against the backrest calls for a cushion behind you. The armrests end 60 cm above the floor, 15 cm above the seat.Opened out, the mattress lies flat as a 140 × 200 cm sleeping surface — the size of a standard double mattress, so standard double bedding fits as it is. The mattress has a polyester cover and synthetic hollow-fibre filling; it is included and arrives in its own package.Delivery and assemblyThe sofa comes in two packages: the frame flat in a 207 × 81 × 13 cm carton weighing 59 kg, and the mattress in a polythene bag with a fleece cover, 150 × 62 × 62 cm and 23 kg. The frame carton is over two metres long — check it will pass through the stairwell or lift.The frame is assembled at home, by two people according to the manufacturer, who includes instructions and an assembly tool.
