Tuscany Natural Black is a rectangular linen tablecloth measuring 150 × 250 cm. The fabric is a natural sand beige with a visibly uneven weave, and the edges are finished with a black zigzag stitch and a frayed fringe. What size table it fits The cloth is 150 cm one way and 250 cm the other. The drop on each side is half the difference between the cloth and the tabletop: on a 90 cm wide top that leaves 30 cm per side, on a 100 cm top 25 cm. Measure your own table both ways and work out both differences, because there is no other way to know in advance how far the fabric will hang. Linen is soft and heavy in the hand, so it falls vertically over the table edge and settles into folds rather than standing away from it. The linen and the edge finish The manufacturer names a single material — linen — and India as the country of origin. The weave is visible to the naked eye and the shade is not uniform: variation in yarn thickness belongs to linen yarn and is not a flaw in an individual piece. The colour name "Natural Black" describes the combination rather than the cloth itself: the tablecloth is natural beige, and the black is the narrow zigzag stitch running parallel to the edge, just above the fringe. Washing The manufacturer allows hand washing only, so the cloth does not go into the machine after a meal — stains have to be dealt with as they happen and the whole piece washed sparingly.
