The testo 606-2 precisely measures the moisture content of different types of wood and building materials. Compared to the 606-1 moisture meter, it also measures the humidity and air temperature. On top of that, it calculates the dew point and wetbulb. For example, when storing wood, you can not only measure the wood moisture content, but also assess the storage conditions at the same time. You can easily find out whether the storage environment has been properly adjusted or whether it is advisable to change the storage conditions. The testo 606-2 reliably records the moisture content of wood and building materials by means of a penetration measurement using two electrodes. The device can use the material characteristics to display the material moisture directly as a percentage by weight in relation to the dry matter (dry weight).
