With the testo 616 moisture meter, you can determine the moisture content in building materials and wood quickly and non-destructively and monitor the drying process. To measure, simply select the corresponding characteristic and place the measuring claw on the respective material. The device immediately shows you the moisture content of the material on the display – as a percentage by weight compared to the dry mass. At the push of a button you record the result for wood moisture or for the moisture of the building material. Although the measuring claw is only on the material surface, for example on the wall, on the floor or the wooden plank, it can measure the moisture inside the material at a measuring depth of up to 5 cm.
