A stool made of reclaimed teak Siku is a low stool built from reclaimed teak — timber that had a life before it reached the workshop. You can see it at a glance: knots, darker patches and the marks of old fixings are still there in the seat and the legs. These are not defects in the making; they are the history of the material, and no new timber can imitate them. Construction Four slightly splayed legs cut from thick boards, a stretcher tying them together at mid-height, and a solid rectangular seat — the whole form is reduced to what is necessary.
