This is a soft liner for the inside of a Moses basket — a layer of fabric between the wicker weave and the baby. Made entirely from 100% organic cotton in white. Why a liner in a wicker basket Wicker is stiff and textured: the weave itself is not pleasant against a newborn's skin, and its edges can catch on clothing. The liner covers the whole interior — base and sides — giving one smooth, continuous surface. At around 8 cm thick it also cushions: it softens the hardness of the base and the rods next to it. That behaviour is typical of chemically untreated organic cotton and is not a fault. The practical consequence: after the first wash the liner may go into the basket with some resistance — do not force it, just lay it out and let it settle over a few days.
